UEH SCHOLARSHIP POLICIES FOR INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS

UEH offers 200 scholarships per year for international students applying to the exchange programs and full-time programs at UEH.

1. Scholarship for exchange students:

1.1. Eligible Applicants
- Partner university students: International students nominated by UEH partner universities to participate in an exchange program at UEH for at least three months (equivalent to approximately 8-10 credits).
- Free-mover international students: International students who are currently enrolled in undergraduate or postgraduate programs and wish to participate in an exchange program at UEH for at least three months (equivalent to approximately 8–10 credits).

1.2. Scholarship value
UEH’s exchange scholarship applies equally to both categories (partner-nominated and free-mover students) and to all study levels (undergraduate and postgraduate). The scholarship includes:
- 100% tuition waiver for exchange study at UEH (minimum three months);
- Free dormitory;
- Living allowance of VND 2,600,000 per student per month (approximately USD 100 per month) during the study period at UEH.

1.3. Number of slots
100 scholarships per year, regardless of applicant category (partner or free-mover) or level of study (undergraduate or postgraduate).

1.4. Application Period

- Application Period 1: March - April

- Application Period 2: September - October

Note: Applications submitted outside the official application periods may still be received by UEH; however, they will be considered in the next application period.

2.  Scholarship for full-time international students

2.1. Eligible Applicants
- International students who have been admitted and officially enrolled in undergraduate, master’s, or doctoral programs at UEH.
- Not applicable to students under Government Agreement (scholarship agreement) programs.

2.2. Scholarship value
The international student scholarship applies to undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral programs as follows:

(*) To support students in taking political theory courses (Taught in Vietnamese at UEH)

2.3. Number of scholarships
100 outstanding scholarships are awarded, regardless of study level (undergraduate, master’s, PhD), including:
- 30 scholarships for international students from Southeast Asian countries and low-income countries (details available here)
- 70 scholarships for international students from other countries.
2.4. When to Apply

Applications for UEH full-time scholarships for international students are accepted on a rolling basis. Scholarships are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis; therefore, applicants are encouraged to apply as early as possible, preferably at least three months prior to their intended enrollment date.

CHÍNH SÁCH HỌC BỔNG SINH VIÊN QUỐC TẾ

UEH cung cấp 200 suất học bổng mỗi năm cho sinh viên quốc tế đăng ký tham gia chương trình trao đổi sinh viên và các chương trình đào tạo chính quy toàn thời gian tại UEH.

1. Chính sách học bổng dành cho sinh viên quốc tế học trao đổi tại UEH

1.1. Đối tượng:

- Sinh viên quốc tế trường đối tác: Sinh viên có quốc tịch nước ngoài được các trường đối tác UEH đề cử đi học trao đổi tối thiểu 03 tháng (dự kiến khoảng 08-10 tín chỉ).

- Sinh viên quốc tế tự do: Sinh viên có quốc tịch nước ngoài đang học đại học/sau đại học và có nguyện vọng học trao đổi tại UEH tối thiểu 03 tháng (dự kiến khoảng 08-10 tín chỉ).

1.2. Mức học bổng

-Học bổng trao đổi dành cho sinh viên quốc tế không phân biệt đối tượng sinh viên (sinh viên tự do/trường đối tác) và bậc đào tạo (đại học, sau đại học) bao gồm:

- Cấp 100% học phí học trao đổi tại UEH (tối thiểu 03 tháng);

- Miễn phí ký túc xá;

- Hỗ trợ 2.600.000VND/sinh viên/tháng (~ tương đương 100 USD/sinh viên/tháng) theo thời gian học tập tại UEH

1.3. Số suất

Cấp 100 suất/năm không phân biệt đối tượng sinh viên (sinh viên tự do/trường đối tác) và bậc đào tạo (đại học, sau đại học).

1.4. Các đợt xét

- Đợt 1: Tháng 3 - Tháng 4

- Đợt 2: Tháng 9 - Tháng 10

Ghi chú: Hồ sơ nộp ngoài thời gian quy định vẫn có thể được UEH tiếp nhận; tuy nhiên, hồ sơ sẽ được xem xét trong đợt xét tiếp theo.

2. Chính sách học bổng dành cho sinh viên quốc tế học toàn thời gian tại UEH

2.1. Đối tượng

- Sinh viên có quốc tịch nước ngoài trúng tuyển và nhập học chương trình cử nhân/thạc sĩ/nghiên cứu sinh tại UEH.

- Không phải là lưu học sinh Hiệp định.

2.2. Mức học bổng

- Học bổng sinh viên quốc tế áp dụng chung cho chương trình cử nhân, thạc sĩ và tiến sĩ như sau:

(*) Hỗ trợ sinh viên có thể học các học phần lý luận chính trị (UEH đào tạo bằng tiếng Việt)

2.3. Số suất 

- Cấp 100 suất học bổng xuất sắc không phân biệt bậc đào tạo (Cử nhân, thạc sĩ, tiến sĩ), trong đó bao gồm:

+ 70 suất dành cho sinh viên quốc tế đến từ các nước khác.

+ 30 suất dành cho sinh viên quốc tế các nước Đông Nam Á và các nước có thu nhập thấp.

2.4. Thời gian nộp hồ sơ

Chương trình học bổng UEH dành cho sinh viên quốc tế học toàn thời gian tiếp nhận hồ sơ thường xuyên trong năm.

Học bổng được cấp cho sinh viên đạt điều kiện hồ sơ theo thứ tự thời gian hoàn thiện hồ sơ sớm nhất đến khi hết số suất học bổng được phân bổ. Vì vậy, UEH khuyến khích ứng viên nộp hồ sơ càng sớm càng tốt, tốt nhất ít nhất 3 tháng trước thời điểm dự kiến nhập học.
